Anfangen: Lernen, was in der Welt so passiert.

I started 2018 with a group hug. Well, kind of. There were so many people on the bridge in Zürich to watch the fireworks, that it almost felt like I was part of a huge New Years Eve group hug and I gotta say: there are definitely worse ways to start your year.

Anyway, I've made a couple of resolutions for the new year and even though I think they are quite positive and manageable, I am still not going to blame myself if I wouldn't be able to follow thorough. It's about setting goals, not feeling shitty about yourself (pardon my French this early into 2018!) 🙈

Continue: Being an inclusive feminist.
I firmly believe that nothing changes me quite as much as the discovery of feminism. I take pride in my feminist views and I will continue being the body-positive, supportive babe I became thanks to that movement. This resolution is therefor more of a declaration of love to the women and voices that keep educating me. Thank you for making the destruction of the patriarchy fun!

Start: Keep up with the news
It is hard to keep up with the headlines and keep the problems and stories in mind, that don't make the cut. But nobody said you can't try. So I am going to try. I shall do my level best to keep up with all these crazy news our world provides us with, read about the important stories and ignore everything Taylor Swift and Prince Harry related.

Start: Adult better than ever before
With great independence comes great responsibility. And I have yet to master the last one like filling out your taxes. Adulting can be hard, but 2018 I am going to do it better than ever. I believe in my grown up self!

Continue: Be kind to yourself and others
At least one of the two is difficult for everyone, but I still consider kind the ultimate goal and virtue. It demands strength and compassion - both a must have for 2018. Show yourself some love and pass it on to those around you!
